Windows Live Mail password request to recieve my ATT/Yahoo mail

In recent days I was asked by ATT.net Yahoo to change my password and did. Windows Live Mail will not allow a password (anything..?) change... and simply reverts to what was. I need to correct the password each time it opens and am able to receive receive mail, but.. WLM will not change...???

Thanks Vista King, that is the answer across all threads, but.. is also the point. Once one changes the password ( I do then receive e-mails) and then close WLM. As soon as you reopen it... It's back to where it was. I've even just "deleted" the password (nothing there) knowing I have to type it in anyway, and... there it all is, when I reopen WLM. I've also changed the ingoing/outgoing POP3 and SMPT addresses and the server port numbers. Click Apply..Ok then close WLM. When I re-open it... it's ALL back to what was there before any change. I'm not sure what it's even supposed to be anymore, but.. If I just add my ATT Yahoo password (each time), I receive e-mail.

Do you place a check next to Remember Password ?

Yes.. you have to check it to enter a password. It can only be unchecked.
