Windows Media Player shoplist missing

Hello,

I would like to buy music online but if I click "browse all online stores" in Windows Media Player (v12) the categories are not visible. Just the titel "Choice of Online Stores" and the text below it.

Does anybody know what I can do?

Hello Softbrain, and welcome to Seven Forums. I don't have a lot of experience with downloading music Soft, but may I suggest that instead of clicking on the "browse all online stores" you try just clicking Windows Media Guide. From there you have a drop down menu for Music as well as a search engine in the top right corner. If you're just getting started with WMP 12, you may need to find and add stores.

A second choice might be to just select a store at random and see if that store offers the type of music you're looking for. Good Luck

Thanks for your ideas but it leads to the same point. Meanwhile I tried to uninstall Media Player but this also didnt work.

I did that by deactivating Windows-functions (got the system in German, so maybe its called different). It says it takes maybe a few minutes, the process runs but nothing happens.

Any suggestions?

Hi Softbrain. Sorry that didn't work for you. Try looking at this it's a Microsoft link that will probably be more help than me. You can also change the language to German. Again, Good Luck
