Windows Not Responding

I'm running Win7 64bit home with IE-8. I probably get "win not responding"3 times a day& it"s pissing me off!!! What do I have to do short of shooting it?? Thanx

Run http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html , if there is any violation in the system files, it will be recovered .

1) Please post your system specs. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/180324-system-info-see-your-system-specs.html

2) Are you talking about Windows, Windows Explorer or Internet Explorer?

3) Are you running more than one anti-virus application?

4) Is there anything common to each time the system stops responding?
