So sprint has really let me down since we have moved and even though I enjoyed unlimited Data I only use at the most 1.8 GB a month and for $30 I get 3 GB with At&t. With signing a new contract means new phones and I am really looking at the HTC Titan running Windows 7.5, I think I would like it cause I loved my zune, it has slacker and the games on there look pretty fun.

So I have read so reviews on cnet and engadget.com and the editor's really did praise this mobile OS but in the comments under the article there is a lot of bashing it and I do not want to end up with another HTC HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 cause that phone was horrible so what is your all opinion.

i was a very early adopter of the windows mobile 7 OS. i got a HTC HD7 on release.

now i loved it! admittedly back then simple things like copy and paste were missing and the os was very buggy and had no multi tasking... it was still a very good OS and a great phone (my first HTC)

I sold it as i wanted the Blackberry Bold 9900, as i loved blackberrys before... but it was such a step backwards... soo last week i bough a Samsung Galaxy S2 instead :D

One of my friends has the new Nokia windows phone, and seeing it the other day really made me miss the OS. But as im in my 3rd phone in less than a year i dont want to spend any more money on them! (well not for a few months yet)

HTC Titan is a very good choice.
That is how it looks and and the reviews are Good on Windows Phone 7, I had a bad experience with Windows 6.5, always freezing, a lot of apps not working with it and I am sure HTC sense did not help with this.

My next question is how does Windows Update work? Right now it is 7.5 but when the next one comes out which I am assuming is 8 is up to the manufacture to release the update and if so is HTC good at doing so?

Also those of you who have gone from 7 to 7.5 did the phone stay fully functioning? I ask cause on my android phone I went from 2.2.1 to 2.3.5 and I lost some of my features. Thanks guys for any answers.
