I just installed the 2012 Live Photo Gallery, it's working ok, and not too much CPU usage (except when first loading), but I just noticed the RAM usage: 440 MB.
Is that possible from a photo app? I don't remember seeing that much memory hogging before, not even with the new versions of Chrome.
Can someone do me a favor, if you have Photo Gallery installed, can you open it and see how much memory it uses up? (WLXPhotoGallery.exe)
Thanks.
edit: I just noticed it's also taking up 70-90% of CPU when saving an edited photo. I think MS should change the min. requirements for Photo Gallery on the site, to something like: 8 GB RAM, Core i7 etc.
