Solved Windows Photo Viewer ...COM Surrogate not working

O.k. I had a problem a week ago when I managed to download a bunch of JUNK that came with something I wanted. The icons on my desktop would not open. Got that fixed. Now I go to open a .png and the Photo viewer will not open ...Just the message " COM Surrogate not working". I really don't even like the Photo Viewer as it will open something but I can't copy the graphic and get it out of the program.

Can this program be reinstalled? If so, and it works again will it be possible to copy and paste it into another program or onto my desktop?

This is a large order folks....

Oh No!!! 102 people have looked at my post and NO ONE can help me??? Can I re-install Window's Picture Viewer???

Photo viewer still not opening....

I have posted 2 seprate posts about my photo viewer not opning my pngs. I didn't get one answer and one post had over 140 views. Can I just delete the photo viewer and download a fresh copy? If so could someone please leave a safe site to get it?

Will photo viewer open at all for any files jpg/....
Have you run system file checker sfc/ scannow ?
