Hello everyone!

Since I'm new to this forum I wasn't really sure where to place this thread (restore or updates) but decided to place it here.

About 1.5 weeks ago my sister turned of my pc while it was installing updates. Since then, I couldn't get back into windows 7 anymore. I got an error saying: "Logon Process initialization Failure. Interactive Logon Process initialization has failed. Please consult the3 event log for more details". When that error first appeared I tried all sort of things but they didn't work. The next morning, when I started up my pc I got the restore program again. It said it couldn't recover my pc though when I rebooted I got back into windows 7. I then thought I solved the problem. However, every time I boot up my pc now, I have to do the restore program again.. Also, when I check if I need to do any windows updates, there's 4. Each time I shut down my pc it installs these updates but never completely because the next time I shut down my pc I have to do the same updates again. Has anyone had this problem before?

Thanks in advance!

Be sure windows updates aren't installed afterwards!! For example disconnect network cable or disable. Reboot a few times. PC works fine now?

If so... install only 1 update patch at a time. Now you know what patch is causing the problems. Which one?

I already tried going to before the updates installed, but I can't. I'm getting an error, and everytime I do windows recovery, it says it worked so I can start my pc again, but the next time I start I get the same thing. Should I just turn on and off my pc every time without being connected to the internet? would that work?

For this test don't connect to internet! Just do a "system restore" to date/time prior to problems. Or do the "windows recovery" (whatever that is) to make the system bootable.

Now boot a few times. Be sure you DON'T have internet connection then, so updates can't be downloaded automatically. Post results
