Windows startup running slow after crash and hard shutdown

So I was playing the battlefield 1 beta one night when all of a sudden everything freezes. No keys or anything responded, even my reset button did nothing when I tried to press it, so I figured the only option was to cut the power. After I did and my PC started to boot back up, I noticed it was oddly slower than normal. The startup screen lingered longer than usual, and the black screen after that stayed for a longer time than normal too, not an abysmally long time but long enough for me to notice. When everything does finally start up, it isn't different speed-wise than before the crash, however I've noticed that some things that worked with zero problems before suddenly didn't, like embedded videos in chrome not showing up. Not sure what happened to my PC, but from some of the threads I've seen before it looks like it may be a hardware issue, in which case I have no clue what to do, hope someone can help out.

Tried the scan all 3 times, said it found nothing all 3 times. Also I can't check one of my hard drives unless I do a disk check on my next startup, should I go ahead with that?

Yes mate it can do no harm in fact I often use it in conjunction with the sfc anyway when things have gone belly up.
Looking at your specs seems unlikely for a hardware failure but anything is possible I suppose.
It would not do any harm to run these either if only to eliminate malware.

I have Malwarebytes so I ran that before posting this thread, I also tried the AdwCleaner and it found a bunch of threats and cleared them, but startup after the restart was still really slow. I'm considering doing a system restore, but I just want an expert's approval before going ahead with it, in case it won't do any good. I should also mention that the disk check experienced an error and it didn't go through, which is pretty troubling in my eyes, I don't know what you guys make of it.

Ok mate the disk check I am assuming it was a drive test?

The system restore I would try to just before the issue cropped up. You won't lose data but it probably will prompt updates again.
