Hello

2' time this week that this occur

My system is always running. When I came back to work this morning,, some of the running software where closed and other not responding. When I tried to close Excel, no question to save was asked and it closed all the others software running on my PC leaving only the Windows colored flag on the screen.

I was not able to run any applications, nor to closed my PC other way than pressing the power button.

- I did a sfc /scannow. All normal
- I check with malwharebyte: 1 Malwhare removed
- Kaspersky did not detect any virus
- Corsair S.M.A.R.T. status seems normal.

Question:
- What should I look for?
- I suspect my SSD drive, but don't know how to validate this suspicion
- Could it be a fluctuation on the power supply? If so, any tool to detect it
- Could it be a memory leek? One of the software that I use may use a lot of memory for its history. Could it leak and corrupt data in the Windows files system?

This is an intermittent problem. I had similar problem few years ago and now it seems to reappear.

Any help appreciated

Martin

to confirm if it is your SSD drive, run memtest86 for 8 passes (ideal number for accurate info) and post back with results

Hello Hach

System is stable since one week. I can't test with Memtest until Friday night, I will leave it on for the 8 pass

You suggest to try Memtest to validate my SSD? Is a test specifically for the drive would be more appropriate?

Have a nice day

Martin

Java seem's to crash PC

Hello

Did post another treat few days ago about PC crashing

Now from a debug report, I have been told to look around Java because the last operation seems to be related to it

I did experimenting PC crash occasionally since few years and many version of Java being installed. This version was installed few month ago. Can't see if I had more problem since this version or not

I am including a text file of the crash report from "WinCrashReport"

Any help appreciated
