I've restarted my computer several times with no success. I'm lost. Will someone please help!

When I go to Services Windows Update does not show up I'm running Windows 7 64bit.

Also, when I try to install my printer, I get a message saying the driver's signature is not being recognized. I'm not sure if the two issues are related. Please advise. Please please advise :)

Seen this a couple times at work - go in to the Control Panel and search for Troubleshooting - there's a section in there to fix errors with Windows Update. Usually, letting that run, along with a reboot, will fix that.

Open an Elevated Command Prompt window, and run the following commands

NET START BFE
NET START BITS
NET START WUAUSERV
NET START TRUSTEDINSTALLER

post the results.

Here are some instructions to make life easier :)
1) To open an Elevated Command Prompt Window (the ECP window), click on Start, All Programs, Accessories – then right-click on Command Prompt, and select Run as Administrator. Accept the UAC prompt.
2) To run the commands easier, highlight the block of commands, and right-click on the highlight – select Copy. In the CP Window, click on the black/white icon at top left – select Paste. The commands will run but may not complete the last command, so hit the Enter Key once.
3) To copy the results... click on the Black/White icon in the top left, and select Edit... 'Select All', and hit the Enter key - then use Ctrl+V or r-click+Paste to paste it into your response.

In other answers I see windows update is running!! It's just 0xc8000247 ... that's an install error. Even standalone updates do fail I assume(?)

Try to clean boot http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorial...ation-conflicts-performing-clean-startup.html
Still problems?

Run this fixit http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058

Please help us to help you by filling in your System Specs (see How to - System Specs).

Did you try #13 already? Boot after doing it, and try if updates work. Of course set to normal boot instead of "clean boot" afterwards

The SFC report looks essentially clean to me - which probably means that the problem is in the registry somewhere.

Please download the Farbar Service Scanner from

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/farbar-service-scanner/

Run it, and tick all the options, then click on the Scan button - copy and paste the report to your response.

I did the steps in #13 with no luck. It would not let me down load the program for the system specs:(

It won't let me upload the files to the forum. When I try to upload the App. file, it says I'm missing a token. When I try to upload the Sys. file, it says invalid file type.
