[Windows Update] Copying Updates from a Computer to Another?

Hello Experts,

I wonder if it's possible to copy the Windows Updates files from a computer to another without having to download them again, provided that both computers run the same OS. Has anybody tried this?

Hi there,

I don't actually think this is possible. The only way would be to download the updates manually from microsoft.com and store them on a USB Flash Drive.

Hello ramyomar,

As D3LL said, it isn't possible to grab the installer that Windows Update has downloaded. If you don't want to download the files twice, you can download them with WSUS Offline:

WSUS Offline Update - Update Microsoft Windows and Office without an Internet connection

Then make an ISO which you can use to install the updates on another computer. Here's a short tutorial:
