Windows Update failed error code: 800F0900 files not being corrected

Dear all,


I have encountered error code 800F0900 on Windows Update process. The HDD had errors and was made clone to SSD I tried sfc /scannow and it found errors but was not able to correct it.



I tried to migrated to windows 10 with MediaCreationTool1903 and after restart it will return back to windows 7.



I tried previous thread here on the forum without success

[1] Do you mean you cloned the HDD to a SSD and it will not boot?
[2] If so, did you detach the HDD and boot the SSD?

Download and run System Update Readiness Tool (SURT)x64, post CBS folder that will appear on your desktop when the program completes.
Zip/compress the CBS folder and upload please.

If the zip/compressed folder is greater than 8MB remove the .cab files from the CBS folder, zip and upload that please. Need to see the CheckSUR.log and CBS.log to assist you.
