Which option you use for windows update.

Recommended is the best option and would not see this type of statement.

Windows update >> Change Setting >> "Install updates automatically (Recommended).."

Install new update: Everyday
Time: Select the time when you always using the computer. It will download in the background without interfere what you do.
Recommend update: Check mark on the box
Who can ...: Everyone.
Microsoft, if no Microsoft product: clear the box.

Then you not be not bother on updates, as it run in the background.
Sometimes, it will reboot (immediately, depend on the update)
Or it is mentioned on the Shutdown button, do click, even if you want to reboot. Once shutdown complete, then turn on.
