Windows updates in XP Mode Virtual PC?

I've not yet been able to get Windows updates to run within XP mode - am I suppose to be able to or is what you get what you get? It launches Win Update fien but once you choose Express or Custom to check for updates it just hangs. Thanks!

Nevermind, I think. After a WAY lon time (1 hour) it finally finsihed.
