Excellent video, But I am still stumped.
The IDE Cable allows for 2 channels on IDE, that why the SATA shows up 1 more position down than the SATA connections on the MB.
Any IDE DVD drives available to test ? set as slave ?

I'll try setting the HDD as slave... switched the spare SATA DATA cable... then restarting pc - entering BIOS... resetting to default everything (I've been changing settings all day, maybe this will clear things up) setting boot priority to HDD -> DVD Be back with an update
