My Toshiba laptop A505-S6980 will suddenly not start windows. I got into FN/F8 and the Recovery Options and tried a number of these: System Repair, Safe Mode, Command Prompt, etc. to get windows to work, but nothing helped. I can only get as far as the screen saying the the windows files are loading and then it goes to a microsoft screen and then blank. I was going to try and replace the hard drive myself unless there are some other thoughts out there.
