Windows7 and AOL

I am asking on behalf of a friend who sent me this question today -- thought maybe someone here might have AOL and experienced the same thing and might know of a fix -- here's the situation:

It seems that when someone having windows 7 sends an email to a person using XP, there can sometimes be no scrollbar in the email. Have you ever heard of that or know the fix? It makes the email impossible to read unless the receiver forwards it to them selves

I do not have AOL and do not have this problem, but maybe an AOL user could respond to this.

I'd appreciate any input please.

Thanks

This may not be what your friend is talking about, but I have a cousin that uses AOL and I get a lot of email from him like that. Right below the address bar will be a paperclip and some words that is the subject of the email with .eml as an extension. If she double clicks that she will then see the message.

This is true for what I get from my cousin and all he does is forward junk. A normal email may not be that way from AOL.
