Hello there, first time pc builder and first time posting so please excuse me if some of my questions seem a bit silly.

I'am having an issue with my windows 7 installer, displaying "A required CD/DVD driver is missing" when using a USB as a bootable device

Things I've tried/noted
1.The common fix of trying to change the usb port my flash drive is plugged into on the welcome screen does not work.
2.When I use the "repair my computer" option and open up the command prompt, and use "diskpart" then "list disk" my removable USB drive isn't displayed but my ssd is.
3.At first I thought it was because of my USB 3.0 ports not playing nice with the windows 7 installer (even though im using 2.0 slots), so I added my motherboard's usb drivers from the manufacturer's site to the "boot.wim" file. but still have the same issue.
4.I've made sure that the boot order is correct
5.Clicking "browse" to attempt to point to my usb only shows "computer" and "boot (x)"
6.There is no OS on it as of yet hence trying to install windows 7.

This is happening on 2 separate windows iso's
-Windows home priem
-Windows ultimate

Could I have been unlucky and have downloaded 2 bad iso files?
would appreciate some guidance on this issue, I've been at this for around 8+ hours and its driving me crazy.

If the flash drive is the problem, as you had mentioned.
Use another flash drive.

Application to easy install Windows 7.
MSI Win7 Smart Tool is handy tool for creating a Windows USB bootable drive from an ISO.

This tool allows you to create DVD disk and Windows 7 bootable USB disk and could allow you to install Windows 7 properly even when using with USB keyboard or mouse especially for Intel Z1xx series MSI motherboard.

Unfortunately, this programs from manufacturers, only load drivers for installation but not for maintenance. Gigabyte also has it's own, but in my case it didn't work as it should.
