I did that several times ,it's more then just a restart
After some reaserch come to find out i had to use the win 7 disc and choose upgrade to fix some broken installed upgrade supposedly MS already came across this and had a solution ready.
I did exactly what was printed and it worked took a hour or two to re-establish win7 but i got it to update and i see the service pack installed now
but still doesn't say i am useing service pack 1 but it is there ......
Arghhh! this stuff is a headache at times but damn it we live for these moments
anyway if anyone else is suffering from the sp1 issue having to restart and still doesn't go through use the win7 upgrade part on the disc and it will clean it up and make the adjustments to install properly
