I'm trying to rack down an issue with my wireless connection. I'm using a new Actiontec C1000A DSL Dual band modem supplied by (Centurylink)Wireless N VDSL2 Modem Router - C1000A for CenturyLink and my internet connection speed shows initially at 144mbps within Windows Network status under (Network and Internet>View Network status and tasks>Connections. After sometime it drops to 1.0-2.0 mbps and will stay there unless I reboot or rest the adapter.
As for adapters I was initially using a Lynksis WMP600N but switched it out with a new D-Link DWA-548. After installing the D-Link I thought I had resolved the issue but nooooooooo the following morning I checked within Windows Network and Internet and it was showing 1.0-2.0 mbps again. I was using the most current drivers offered for both adapters. The system shows an excellent connection between the desktop & my DSL Modem Router when issue shows. I do not have drop off issues at all either. I've tried changing channels as well on each adapter as well as changing setting within the DSL modem.
System specs:
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit SP1
Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3 (BIOS F-10)
