Wireless connections not detected, others are

This is really baffling me - Windows 7 is detecting two wireless internet connections belonging to my neighbours, but it won't detect my own!!
The connection to my Netgear hub found my connection and worked perfectly well in XP, no problem. Then i upgraded to Windows 7 (clean install with a new hard drive), installed the BT Voyager 1055 drivers, which all worked correctly. But when i came to connect to my internet account, it wasn't there, although two others belonging to my neighbours were. I can connect perfectly well on my laptop, and i can scan and find my wireless connection on my blackberry, so it's definitely working. My blackberry detects six networks in total. My PC only detects two, and neither are mine.
I have a fairly good desktop PC, and Windows 7 runs fine apart from this issue (oh, apart from there's no sound, but i'll tackle that later...)
Can anyone please help, it's very frustrating!

I've sorted it now... I went out and bought a Belkin wifi device instead and it worked like a dream. BT Voyager's wifi, or at least the drivers, simply don't work properly with Windows 7. Incidentally, after getting back on the internet, W7 ran an update and found a new driver for the Belkin, automatically installed it - and instantly lost contact with the wifi device. So i uninstalled the updated driver, replaced it with the one that had worked earlier - and it still didn't detect it. Finally, when I tried to uninstall it again, it came up with an error message which stopped me either uninstalling it or overwriting it. Thus, before I threw the entire PC out of the window, i wiped my hard driver and reinstalled everything from scratch.
For now, it all works properly....
