Just want to add here:
Memory managing/boosting/task manager apps are not needed for android 4.0 and above. Here is a link with a basic example why. Android can manage memory quite well on its own. Just like windows. Difference is Android in 4.0 and above pauses the app and does not use any resources once you hit the home button. To close out of apps, simply hold the home button down and slide apps to the side to close them. You can also switch to previously used apps using this method.
As for the juicedefender, it can be good but some phones it actually causes more battery drain. It depends on the location of the device and signal strength that will depend on battery savings.
Also want to point out that the phone is out of date in terms of android version (latest is jellybean 4.3), but you could probably get a custom Rom that would have a more later version and better customization.
