[WTA] Installing RAM on N68C-GS FX motherboard

I have this motherboard, and I intend to add 2GB of RAM. My question is, is it possible if I install on both slot, which is DDR2 and DDR3 and utilize the RAM installed from both slot? My PC currently runs AM3 CPU, so I guess it supports the utilization from both slots. Just need a clarification on this. Thanks

Personally mate I would stick (no pun) with DDR3 because you are going to get better performance out of it in any case and I stand to be corrected but mixing the two types seems to me to be asking for conflicts.

PS I meant to add if you are doing this one stick of 4GB DDR3 will be the optimum things to use.
