XBOX wireless controller configuration

Hi Im trying to install the XBCD driver for the xbox wireless controller. I have been following guides all of which tell me to enter test mode and download the driver then use a dseo to enable the driver (hope this is making sense). However when I go into device manager and try to update the driver the xbcd does not show up.
Can anyone help??

Do you mean xbox or xbox 360 wireless controller? if you mean 360 why don;t you just use the microsoft provided drivers? If it's not automatically recognized by a game, use XPadder to set up custom control schemes for them.

Wow I uninstalled everything, started from scratch and used the xpadder and that seems to have done the trick. The only thing I cant seem to configure are the LT and RT buttons but everythind else is working If any one knows a way I can work those buttons as well that would be brilliant as they would make my gaming alot easier.
