Hi All,

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate x86 on a Core2Due machine with 4Gigs of RAM and wired to a 100mbps network. I use my XBox360 to stream from my Windows 7 machine usine Windows Media Center on the XBox360.
When the XBox connects everything works 100%. My problem is in connecting though.
9 out of 10 times the XBox360 fails on the first attempt to connect and only connects on the second attempt. On the odd occasion it takes up to 4 attempts to connect.
I have 4 XBox360's in my house and the problem is the same on each of them. I have also tried various hardware configurations on the WMC PC - even different machines.

What can cause this? While it all eventually works, it is very annoying having to go through repeat connection attempts until all is working.

Any help greatly appreciated.
TIA - Mike

Are all of your xboxs wired? Or wireless? Might have some interference in the house.

Whats the power setting on the PC? Does it go to sleep? Kind of sounds like it is taking the PC longer than normal to wake up from sleep.
