Hi,

I was just wondering if there is a performance hit to having XP Mode installed. Does it have any extra services running in the background during startup or normal use while XP Mode is not running?

If it were a perfectly clean program i.e. no services are loaded before XP mode starts, and nothing lingers after it closes, that would be awesome. It's fun going through XP to relive some of the memories. :)

No none at all, nor would it matter if it did because it will only affect performance while it is running a Virtual Machine.
