I'm having problems getting XP mode to work in Windows 7 Professional.
When attempting to start XP-mode, after entering password details and turning on automatic updates, I receive an error telling me that "VT is disabled, or I may have to disable Trusted Execution Technology (TXT)".
According to the Intel Processor ID Utility, VT is supported by my processor and enabled.
Looking into my BIOS, I found that VT is indeed enabled (I have also disabled it and followed the steps in the sticky to re-enable it) but I cannot seem to find a setting to disable/enable Trusted Execution Technology.
My processor is a Core i7 920 and my motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD4.http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products...ModelName=GA-EX58-UD4&ProductVersion=rev. 1.0
Has anyone else encountered a similar problem?
