Hello

I am running Win XP in a VM by Microsoft Virtual PC 2007. The background os is Windows 7 ultimate. Problem is that the XP on the VM will not recognise any USB device. In fact when I go into device manager there is no reference to any USB roots or hubs - in fact no sign of any USB port.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi macthepak,
I would recommend using VirtualBox if you want to use any host devices with the VM. Virtualization programs do not provide virtual USB devices for the machine to use.
