I have legit XP 32 bit with new motherboard. The MB does not have floppy disk support. I can do a fresh install of XP but have to pick IDE drive since can not load Raid drivers via floppy.
How do I do a Win7 Ultimate upgrade and have drivers for both the Intel and Marvell controllers? I want a C: drive non-raid on the P67 with boot/OS/programs, D: Raid0 on the P67 controller and E: Raid0 on the Marvell controller.
Do I connect all drives during the install or just the boot/C: drive?
I've been working on this for hours with not much success. Step by step greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!

First check for all the Win XP drivers for your hardware on the manufacturer's web site.
If your Win XP CD, does not support your Sata Controller, you will need to load drivers to uses at F6.
Load Sata Controller drivers with a floppy disk is the best way.

EasyBCD is best used in Windows 7.

Use EasyBCD 2.0 in Win 7.

I can't load the drivers when doing the Win XP install. I have no floppy support on the MB.
I do not want or need a dual boot system. The goal is to have a Win 7 operating system only with the drives mentioned.
I do have Win XP and 7 drivers for all the controllers--not gigabyte but Asus.
Thanks for the feedback. I may need to purchase a USB floppy if no other suggestions.

I'll try the options tonight. I think I will need to do a clean install with a single formatted disk identified as a RAID disk in bios. Not sure that will get me the Marvell drivers though.
I'll have flash drives handy with both sets of drivers and try to apply them. That didn't work in XP. Do you know if Win 7 allows RAID driver install at F6 from usb flash drives?

I formatted my C: drive and with no other drives in the system, did a clean install of Win7 Ultimate Upgrade. I installed the drivers for the Intel RAID without issue. The drivers for the Marvell RAID were not recognized and they would not install. I proceeded with the install following the instructions in the link you provided without incident. Using option 3, my fully legit OS was recognized as genuine.
I then installed the chipset etc. drivers for the MB and everything in device manager including the Marvell RAID is working properly.
Thanks again for the link you provided. It saved me a lot of headaches and $$$
