yahoo home page won't widen up

I use win 7 and explorer 11 and my yahoo home page won't widen up like the rest of the net does and fill the wide screen of the new monitor. What do I do to fix this?

I found out they made it this way. Can't be widened.

You must be referring to a specific part of the yahoo.com page and not the entire window size ?
The way I see it there are basically 3 columns none of which can be resized.
