Yukon Ethernet Controller Errors

I was browsing my Event Viewer when I ran across a series of Event 101 errors, all re: the Marvell Yukon 88E8001/8003/8010 PCI Gigabit Ethernet Controller. There would be a series of identical errors, 6-8 in a row, all with the same time stamp. They repeated once a day, sometimes twice, going back weeks. I never noticed a problem with my Internet connection.

I have a wired cable connection.

The power has been going out frequently, because of storms. Could that cause the error messages?

There are known issues with this controller on Asus boards. Refer to Asus forum for your mobo. I am somewhat active on the Asus forums and have come across this repeatedly.
