Solved Zebronics Racing wheel not detected

Hi friends i have a zebronics 1000 gw racing wheel.. i installed its drivers a month before and it was working fine.. never used it since then when i connect it now it is not detected by my system i reinstalled the drivers but even though it is not detected.. but the led on the racing wheel is working.. and the usb port is also working i checked it by connecting with my mobile.. help please... try reloading ur os

Try the system restore option, if no check point is there then try the following
select the repair option after starting windows set up as sometimes some things can go wrong

THERE CAN BE PROBLEM OF HARDWARE/POWER i think its got 1 year warranty so get it repaired before it gets expired...... chow hope it works

racing wheel

hey, i just need ur help... actually i am confused in buying the racing wheel... my budget is low... i am confused in between frontech or zebronics or thrugmaster...
ijust want to know that this zebronics one is good for play ???? does it have any fault or something ???? plz kindly tell me about this product in detail

Zebronics is good. Bought it for 1000 rupees. Comes with the racing wheel with buttons in it just like a joystick or you can use the foot pedal and the handbrake fittings.

zebronics 1000 gw, no lags working fine.. just some problem in detecting the hardware but i hope its just mine.. bought in chennai.. should cost the same in all major cities..

thanks buddy.... I stay in kolkata, yesterday i have asked abut the price, they were telling it will cost about round about 1800 rs with vat.... from online it will cost about about 2300rs.... could you please tell how much it rotate ? 90 degree or 180 degree?? and what is the diameter of the wheel.. I will be playing in windows xp sp2 . will it be going to give the problem in xp tooo ??? what games u have played till now with this wheel.....?

did you have any idea about genius racing wheel ???? i have seen some review in youtube ..... what do you think about that.... will it be wise to take zebronics ? i dont have any faith in frontech thats why zebronics is my 1st option ....... did u have any suggestion ... other than zebronics

I'm not sure about the specs but approximately 25-30cm in diameter and it turns 90 degrees. Just get the new drivers and u wont have any problems. I have played need for speed most wanted and Hot pursuit 2010. I bought it an year ago may be the prices have gone up.. follow the link for images and specs..

I know that i am hijacking the thread but i really want to buy this gaming wheel but i dont know its specs. i got to know many of them from your rarlier posts but i want to know about the gears. i dont think there might be any paddles. the knob infront of the handbrake seems to be the shifter but what kind is it?? is it like a manual shifter(like we get in indian cars) or something else?????

Looks like a up/down shifter and not H pattern.

yea i thought that too thats why i am asking before buying it......an up/down shifter is not as good as paddles or an H shifter...
by the way do you own it?

Depends on the immersion factor you are after. An up/down shifter is essentially the same as paddles. I wouldn't let that detract you from your purchase. Whhel based padel shifters are nice, but an up/down shifter is also enjoyable.

No I don't own it - it's a personal thing, but that looks like a little cheap quality wise. I'm awaiting a Fanatec CSR elite combo which is considerably more $$$ than that wheel, so I can't personally comment on the Zebronic wheels quality. But I'm an 'enthusiast' so I prefer to pay for quality.

Logitech also have some good wheel/pedal/shifter combos but it comes down to budget. As long as you can brake/accelrate and change gears with Force feedback it's all good. It can also depend on what games you want to play.

It was sure nice of you to explain it. Would you recommend thrustmaster universal challenge instead of zebronics? Actually I am a student and cannot afford Logitech wheels(they had the formula feedback for 3k but its now discontinued). Also, when is the Fanatech CBR set to release and what is its price??
