1. In my windows 7 virtual pc i have an 80 GB hard disk which is completely allocated for c drive,
but surprisingly my c drive capacity shows only 30GB. There is no unallocated space on the disk.

Can someone help me to resolve this issue.

Please find the attached screen shot.

Just a guess here, how much real space does the virtual HDD is using?

my original hdd size is 500 GB where i have Linux and in that i have KVM with windows 7 which is using 80GB in total. But it show c drive as 29 GB out of which around 9 GB is free. so currently 20 GB is in used 9 GB free and remaining unknown

Since it is Linux and KVM maybe you should actually look in Linux forums, however, is your virtual HDD file 80GB in size? Many of these apps use a dynamic harddisk file (where it will increase in size when needed up until the max you have set).

The disk is a thick provisioned, not thin provisioned. I see Windows7.qcow2 (kvm file for windows7) as 80 GB
