Windows Update Current Stats?

Just checking fast to see if any relevant updates or news on how windows updates was performing? Im searching because I need to update a fresh install. Last time about two months ago there were several issues I had to sort out. I guess Im just asking for a headsup? whats the stats on that update? Is it still all messed up?

If it is ofc Ill dig in and try to sort it out without hand holding. just asking for a headup or any tips. ty in advance all! :P

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Okay, got it all done. Seemed to be pretty straight forward.

Using 64 bit win 7

Changed setting in control panel - updates - settings - never scan for updates - restart

update pack kb3020369 - restart

update pack kb3172605 - restart

went back into settings to change back to daily check for updates, and instantly it started to scan for updates, and within

3 min I got 200 some updates. all went well after that, just had to restart a few times to make sure all got installed.
that was painless.

cheers!
