Hi

I bought a computer, using WIndows 7 Home Premium.
The software was installed using the name 'Kint' for username. (which was mis- interpreted on the phone and should be 'Kent')

Now, when I add or change users, that all ok. But the main user will always remain 'Kint'.

I can add another administrator, and rename the original one to for example 'Main uzer'
And indeed, when I start my computer, I can choose to log in as 'Main uzer'

But the computer still uses C:/users/kint as deault.

Is it possible to change this? (without reinstalling 7)

Can anyone help me out?
Thank you

You are right.
Actually changing user name willn't change Users folder name (Users\Kint)

1. So go to Users\Kint folder and copy, your necessary files like pictures, my documents and so on) (copy them to any Drive)
2. Create new Administarator account and name it "Kent"
3. Log off and log in with "Kent"
4. Delete account "Kint"
5. Move your Desktop, Documents photos (which you backed up in step 1) to it's appropriate place in Users\Kent.

If you need help on deleting and creating user accounts: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/2974-user-accounts.html

Or ask here, We will help.

;)
Hope it helps

ok thanks all

First it didn't work, but I restarted my computer, tehn manually deleted the folder 'Kint', and then restarted again, and now it's all just the way I wanted it to be!

great!
