Hello again. And sorry for the trouble too. Well, after for a one month or so now, my OS or whatever is acting weird again.
So, I just started my computer today and found out that one of my game (Diablo II) kept crashing with some 'Access Violation' so the first thing I did was to restart my computer and then I was prompted to do a 'chkdsk' and I didn't pay much attention to it and let it continue. So, after everything is complete, my game is up and I was surfing the web and gaming...
And, now, when I want to open a .MP3 file (double-click), Windows prompted me that my WMP is not installed properly and must be reinstalled? But I always used it to play my songs? Also I have noticed that, where I saved my songs, there is these two new files seems to be created after the first chkdsk called; 'CurrentDatabase_372.wmdb & LocalMLS_3.wmdb'.
I also tried to reinstall my own WMP but I can't seems to DL WMP 12 off Microsoft site and it said that not available to DL because all Windows 7 has it?
I tried disabling the Windows Features > Media > Windows Media Player and re-enabling it on but still says that there is an error.
So, I tried doing a manual chkdsk with evaluated cmd and reboot my computer to do it. No files were 'recovered' so, after I log-in, nothing change and I am doing 'sfc /scannow' but all I am getting is; 'Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix them'.
I have uploaded my CBS.log if anyone will be so kind to help me on this one, please?
Ultimately,[/URL] the worst thing is that I just deleted all the restore points last night and I didn't do any backup so, what can I do next? Sorry and thanks for all the troubles!!!
