Help with downloading torrent files through FDM

Hello friends,
the only reason for asking this questions on this forum is because the FDM forum couldn't help me with this. So back to basics 7forum. Here is my problem: I'm using FDM Build 931(free download manager) to download any files/applications etc from internet. It also downloads torrent files but it doesn't seems to be working for me as it seems that i may not be doing this correctly...I'm able to download any other files except torrent files.

So guys please help as i need this going as in our world (country) 2Mbps is Dream never come true situation while in US or many other nations thats 60-70% customer's avg speed. Without FDM my network will take atleast 25-35 days to download a 750MB file.

I was FDM user and could use it just fine, no need to modify any setting. Perhaps you changed something? Have you tried reinstall the FDM?

Did you open specific port(s) in your router?
Try using port 80 or 6881

@ blackzero yes & have installed the latest version & its just a very simple setting as you can see in picture apart from that there no other setting that need to be turned on.....

@yowanvista i don't know how to do that i have a Comodo firewall & i have just installed the FDM & use it...

You should configure your router for allowing incoming torrent connections

Yowan i got no router in the connection its a simple dsl connection...

I would uninstall the software using Revo Uninstaller as it will remove ALL remnants left by the program then re-install.

   Tip

When using the Windows ADD/Remove programs option not all files are removed. 1 prime example is settings files so when you re-install it reads the old files and adapts to those old settings

Thank you OS will try that, i use CCleaner to uninstall as that also give an option to do so. Is it Ok to use it or should i get Revo Unistaller????

Yowan buddy using uTorrent isn't an issue but there is a problem with using any torrent platform like Bittorrent,uTorrent i'm connected to network & they softwares can download data but i can't browse. So whenever i browse i can't let Bittorrent/uTorrent running in the background as i can't browse once they are using the network. My ISP get away with it by saying that they don't support 3rd party software (actually they don't support anything) so i preferred using FDM over uTorrent its little faster.

Define your program as a trusted application in Comodo Firewall.

Buddy its already defined as a trusted program. Also i've no problem downloading any other software from any other site. But its just i can't get a .torrent file onto it it only downloads the .torrent file but not the actual movie/software as it works in Bittorrent/uTorrent....That's something i can't figure out...
