Those are pretty awesome scores... Just wondering, but did you need to set your RAM timings 8-8-8-20 just to OC that small amount...? Your sig shows "Corsair Dominator GT DDR3-1600 C7", so you might even be able to tighten the timings a little bit there.

Corsair's site shows recommended timings of 7-8-7-20 for that kit, so you should theoretically be able to make them even tighter than that..

You bring up a good point, I was wondering if anyone was going to catch that. The timings for this kit are actually 7-7-7-20, but I set them to that in order to rule out memory as a problem with stability. It ran before with the right timings, but I was having some issues getting the overclock stable so I set them higher to make sure that wasn't the issue. To be honest, I completely forgot about changing them back. I'll see if it makes a difference.

You need to loosen RAM timings when OC'ing the CPU, with that 4.2GHz OC, I would leave them where they are.

Of coarse, if you want to test it at tighter timings, it might be fine. If it becomes unstable, just loosen them again.

For some reason when I did this it would run and then close immediately after finishing. I would not have even got this picture if I did not hold alt then as soon as it pop up I hit print screen as fast as I could. If you look at it it is actually fading out. I almost did not get it. LOL. But why is that. I really am not sure if I should be laughing or not.

I don't think that's the case here... I don't need to be in an elevated command prompt to run the winsat commands on my PC. A while back, one of my friends had an issue with his Windows 7 where any command run in one command prompt window, would actually run in a new window which then closes on it's own.

Looking at the screenie that Chiumiento posted, I'd guess that the same thing is happening there. I couldn't ever figure out what caused it though, but it gets pretty irritating after a while...

that is exactly what is happening. If that is something wrong I would like to fix it. I do mnot use command prompt that much.

this same thing happened to me when i tryed to run winsat mem this has never happend before but it did this yesterday plus i been having issues with the IE and tool bars i had to delete and rid myself of them So does anyone know the cause of the two winsat windows then disappear i ran this often before with no problems now im starting to have issues and i havnt did anything different since the first install of win7
