Just read your previous thread and that was the complete reverse of this one. there you wanted to stop a standard user from installing programs - I am confused!

In other thread one of my system with standard user is able to install software's. I dont know how it is happening. On all other systems it is unable to install software's. In this thread i would like to know a way to allow standard users to install software's.

Have you taken the advice offered in your previous thread. If so can you give some feedback please. We don't know if you have resolved the other problem. Much easier if we solve one problem at a time especially as these two problems are the exact opposite to each other!

Allowing Standard users to install programs without approval
Is there anyway to allow Standard Users to install a program (like a game on CDROM) without having to get the administrator (me) to enter the administrator's password? Without removing User Account Control.
This is on Windows 7 x64 with Windows Live Family Safety also running (but no setings in there are blocking programs to my knowledge).
I don't see there was an answer to this old series of posts.

I cannot even get that far. We insert a CDROM to install a game, click on setup.exe and it immediately jumps to a dimmed out screen that says to type in the administrator password to proceed. Maybe if the software was an electronic link it might work (or not) but it is not working with loading off a CDROM.
