Hello, im having the problem a bunch of guys already having namely the gateway issue with internet turning off and on.

I've tried with the disable Bonjour service thing but I cant find the Bonjour service at all so I guess I dont have it.
THen i've read thatyou should update your driver and I just need a tip which driver I should get.

My network card:
Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller
Board:
ASUS P5G41T-M/USB3

Best regards

If its an onboard NIC I'd go to ASUS and look though the drivers for your particular model of motherboard. Are you connected to a router or directly to a cable or DSL modem?

Is this a campus residence connection? Who supplies your internet service? Have you contacted them? Have you tried a different network cable or a different jack/connection if available?

I'd have to see your ipconfig /all to help with this problem. In general, gateway problems are usually caused from out of date firmware on your router or bonjour or a driver problem are possible as well.

All right, seems like the first method did not entirely solve the problem. It still occurs but less frequently. Exactly what information is is that you need from the ipconfig /all?

IP address of the adapter in question along with the Default gateway, DHCP Server, and DNS server info I would guess. That would be what i would want to look at.

If you have more that one network adapter, say a wireless and wired, ipconfig will list both. I only have a wired NIC in my PC so I look under Ethernet adapter Wired Connection. If you are referring to IPv4 versus IPv6 we want the IPv4 address. From the look of what you posted I would say your IP address is a public IP, meaning you are probably not behind a router. You are connected directly to the internet. Make sure your windows firewall is turned on. I don't see anything out of the ordinary from what you posted. I'm not a networking expert by any means though.
