SP1 fails to install

saying an unknown error and giving this code 0x800F0826

How many updates do you have that come with sp1 ...?
try to install those update first by uncheck sp1 ...
run wds update again to see if you miss any thing ....?

just 1 other and that's for silverlight

have tried via windows update and manual update

Sp1 did showed up in wds update right ...?
Keep it there ...run update again ...to see if any more show up ....

Maybe ..you still missing some updates prior to Sp1 ...

yes its from windows update no other important updates and it still fails

not missing other updates

i just can't get it on this system at all

I have got it on my HTPC that has almost the same software on
