Solved Edge fails to install?

Why, I have no idea.
I saved the two Attached Error Messages.
Any idea of what's wrong?

Google has dropped support on Chrome for Windows 7 some time ago and it may refuse to even install (depending on what they really mean with "support").

Edge, being just a Chrome clone, inherits this restriction and is the most likely cause of the install failing misteriously. A log file may tell the exact cause.
