So I bought Mass Effect 2...

Im actually thinking of just starting at the beginning of ME1.

My save game was with Ashley ... and well.. yea


So may do a run through with Liara this time

ME1 + Me2 ... that should keep me busy for awhile.

Just finished The Lair of the Shadow Broker and I have to say it's personally my favourite DLC so far now.

There's a few funny parts in it, especially when Liara is trying to crack the code on a door, and Shepard says, "Remember the days you could just slap omni-gel on everything?", haha.

This DLC was amazing! A great story, plenty of action from beginning to end, and an ending that will definitely you looking forward to Mass Effect 3. The boss fights aren't bad either

This definitely moves to the #1 slot as my favorite ME2 DLC. Very well done.

A line that cracked me up was when they were outside the Shadow Broker's ship and shepherd says... "Not even a guard rail. I'll bet the shadow brokers love patrolling here". And Liara says "At least the view is nice"

And at the end you get to look through files on your crew, there's a few interesting parts especially with Tali as you can see the original message between her and the Shadow Broker in ME1 that you use for evidence against Saren.

I don't know how in heck I missed that part but I did. I remember Liara mentioning something about that, but did "read" anything

Oh well, I'm going to play through it again anyway.

Visually, Lair of the Shadow Broker boasts some really breathtaking environments. The cut-scenes are beautifully rendered and approaching the Shadow Broker's ship is simply stunning as lightning storms envelope the massive vessel.

Well said. The visuals are outstanding! Especially standing on the outside of the shadow broker's ship and looking around. Even when you first go in and see those lightning dispersal panels working. Simply amazing. I must have stood around for about five minutes checking them out. And the cut scenes are really well done. Very nice job Bioware.

Yeah, this is definitely worth $9.99 without a doubt. This is how DLC's should be done.

You can return to the Shadow Broker's base whenever you want as there's quite a few things you can do there. Going to do the renegade playthrough myself today.

It definitely did blow me away. Was a lot better than I expected.

Cool. All I did was play the DLC, finish it, and moved back to finishing off Dragon Age. When I finally finish it I'll go through the entire ME2 game again.

I'm hyped for tomorrow. Cant' wait to fire ME2 up again. Gonna be another evening of sat F5'ing the DLC page. Just hopefully there won't be another cock up like there was for the Shadow Broker DLC, lol.

Tbh, all the DLC for ME2 is worth the price I personally find.

There are 2 games that i know of that are worth the price!
ME2 and starcract 2.

and maybe age of empires 2 but thats an old one

Other than the Firewalker pack, eveything else was promotional with the release of the game/game purcahse - outside of those eveything after, again, excluding Firewalker, was/is pay.

So as as noted, the new DLC is for purchase.

Anyways I'll be Johnny on the spot Tuesday. Can't wait
