Hmmm, what's the speed and timings? For 9Gig in triple channel, you should really have higher numbers. Post the CPU-Z results, the memory and SPD tabs.

The basic idea of this thread is to show your score Paul , not just what memory you are running.

To do this , open up the command prompt as administrator and type winsat mem

This will assess your memory speed.

Edit , I see it says banned below his name , no need for this post then assuming he has been banned.

Yeah, they are strict when it comes to ram specs! :shock:

Thanks Dave76! This RAM has a spec of 1600Mhz but I have it at 1648Mhz. Had it up to 1696 with 8-8-8-32 timings.

It is true. When you see the name turned to that brown color, and the avatar and any rep/badges gone, you know they misnehaved. A Guy

You can check the settings in your BIOS or D/L CPUZ and check the Memory, and SPD tabs.

Changing the frequency can be done in the BIOS.

I did changed DRAM settings in bios, it was auto by default and I changed it to 1066 but it didn't made any difference. I can't post screenshot at the moment cause changed house and no Internet available. I'm using forum on my iPhone. (now that's dedication)

Is there any reason you set it to 1066mhz instead of the 1333mhz that you stated your ram speed is?

Also after setting anything in the bios be sure to hit F10 to save and exit.

Just finished assembling my PC a few hours ago - here are mine, with dual-channel 1333MHz 2x2GB G.Skill RAM sticks. Reference is F3-10666CL8D. Motherboard is ASUS P8P67 LE B3 "standard edition".

I hope it isn't too bad..

Sweet! Currently overclocking CPU, time to have that fresh i5 2500k do some cool numbers. Maybe it'll increase RAM speeds as well

I don't have 1333 option in there. The max it shows is 1066 or 1600/1800 with * so I'm guessing * is to use if I'm overclocking which I'm not at the moment.

Ok I think this might be down to the cpu overclock you have stated in your system specs.

As the memory and cpu speeds are linked.

Try bringing down your cpu overclock to say 3.0ghz and then have a look at the memory speed options again.
