I am going to be reinstalling my games onto a new computer on Monday and i was hoping someone could pass on some advice regarding which files i need to save in regards to my progress and saved games.

I am also going to be switching to a 64bit machine from a 32bit and i was hoping i could get some advice on the possible issues and problems I will be facing.

I would be very grateful for any advice you may have.

Thanks Gentlemen

Which Battlefield? For BF2 and BFBC2 both are located in your Documents folder.

As for problems running them on 64 bit Windows, there shouldn't be. I've run everything from BF1942 to BFBC2 with no problems at all on 64 bit Windows, from XP 64 bit to Windows 7 64 bit.

as stormy says, there's a BFBC2 folder in 'Documents' - just copy it somewhere safe (usb stick maybe?) before installing your new windows, and paste it back when you're done installing windows and the game, overwriting files if need be.

i also agree that you shouldn't have any problems playing in 64-bit land - just be aware that you will need 64-bit drivers for all your hardware - the install process and windows update should take care of that for you...
