My computer gets too hot.

I recently have been experiencing hotness on my laptop.It's getting a bit to hot too fast :hot:.I re installed Windows 7 on it because i was told it would correct this problem but it hasn't.Why?

The standard things-
Make sure the small cooling vents are clear of dust and fluff. A can of compressed air is useful for this. I'd have a cooling pad if you don't already have one.
If you have venting underneath your laptop you can temporarily raise that region of the laptop (I do that with one of my old laptops).

I have two questions.
1. Is it a good idea for my compnay to turn off computers in the night and over the weekends? Or should we leave them on? We have around 8 branches and roughly around 80 PCs.
2. How can we monitor the temperature in side the case or the CPU? I have Dell Optiplex 380.

Software wont correct a hardware issue. Open it up, check the fan, and heat-sink. I would start with that...
