Hi, I have a problem with my computer and I dont know if its the PSU or the graphics card and its a brand new computer. When I play games that uses the graphics card it will turn the pc full off, it will do this when I try to quit a game, change video setting while playing a game or even when im in the middle of a game. The graphics card is an Asus HD 6870 DirectCU AMD Radeon Graphics Card and the power supply is LC Power LCH600H-12 V2.31. If anyone could help me that would be great.

Are you getting BSODs, or it just dies, or it turns of like windows?

Its like if you unplugged the pc at the wall or if you hold the power button in until it just powers off. (Just dies).

Just did a performance test with PassMark and the graphics card worked 100% and i tried my CPU and the computer dies on me, so its the CPU and not the graphics card or PSU.

This the power supply?

Google Translate

If so it may say it is a 600 W power supply, but the specs say otherwise. If some of the comments here are any indication,

PSU & VGA - jonnyGURU Forums

it is likely that you're lucky if it can put out 400 W.

I see that will be the power supple, it is poweful enough. But it is just not working.
If your mobo has onboard gfx, get the card out, fire up your system any run stress tests on it.
It is most likely your psu to be faulty, If i were u I would go for a 500-550W psu that has branding smth like a gigabyte, coolink, coolermaster, corsair.
If you can go back to the store with the psu and ask for your money. On the very 1st place go for your money, if you can't just let them give you a new one.

If the one he has is anything like the one I linked to, no it isn't powerful enough. In fact if that is the one I wouldn't trust it to power a light bulb based on false specs.

No I haven't read much about his power supply, because I was sure that it is crappy(, I just didn't know that it is that much.) Thats why i suggested to go for something more branded.

Yes now it can still be the gfx card or the psu.
I suggest you to run Furmark at a low resolution to stress your card to 100% but not your CPU. If your CPU usage stays low and card usage close to the top, and it doesn't crash, than it is your PSU.

You can see yourself here.
I'd buy a 500W Gigabyte Superb/500W coolink. If you want to go pro you shall go with the 500W Corsair CX.
