They are unrelated to Windows Live Essentials. If you want them gone, or won't use them, feel free to remove them.Thanks for the info (nem)! Have a new W7 PC and was able to unistall the Windows Live programs.
I did notice in Programs and Features these: Windows Live Signon Assistant, Windows Live Sync, & Windows Live Upload Tool. Not sure if these should also be uninstalled some how?
According to the Windows Live Essentials download manager, which lists the available components of the Essentials, Photo Gallery and Movie Maker both include "Windows Live Sync". Since I haven't yet installed these programs, I can't say whether they produce a separate entry in Programs and Features.
