Solved Micrsoft Outlook 2010 Auto start up

Hello,
Could anybody please tell me how to get microsoft outlook 2010 to start automatically at start up and also how to make it refresh automatically.

Welcome to Windows Seven Forums.

The easiest way is to place an Outlook shortcut in the Startup folder.

Launch Windows Explorer and navigate to C:\Documents & Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Microsoft Office\Microsoft Office Outlook 2010.

Right-click Outlook 2010 and select Copy.

Now go to Documents & Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup and paste the Outlook shortcut.

Close Windows Explorer and Outlook should now startup when your computer does.

Thanks for your help Do you know how to receive emails as they arrive on outlook?

They should download when Outlook is started, but you can also click Send and Receive on the ribbon.

They do but I want it to receive the emails like the minute they get sent like in school they get their emails straight away and a notification comes up at the side they use outlook 2003 I think though.

Go to Options and click Mail>Message Arrival>Show envelope in taskbar.
