Solved Slow boot time after forcing computer to shut down during back up

Hi, I have installed The windows 7 OS on an SSD, and installed all apps and drivers. I then took a system image back up and was halfway through backing up my data to an external eSATA G-drive when it seemed like it had hung. I forced he whole system to shut down through pressing and holding the power button and not the boot time seems to have trebled! What do you think I did? What can I do to fix this? Is the best thing to do to restore from the system image I have just created? Thanks if you can help!

I would do a clean install + BPTT

Hi Roderunner. I hit F8 during boot and a system repair which advised unplugging external devices. I unplugged the eSATA g-drive and it seems to be booting in 20s now so all good. Seems like it is resolved for now. what's BPTT btw? Thanks for your help

Ah, true! Also I have should have been a bit more patient with my request for help probably. Have been getting a bit panicked with this SSD which was pretty unstable and I am learning as I go. So thanks.
